I have worked with Spencer both shooting alongside him and with him assisting me.
The thing that really stood out along with his eye for the beauty in the everyday are his Interpersonal skills he has a real knack for making people feel at ease. This connection comes through in his images, and also makes him a pleasure to work with.

Spencer Aston came on board as one of the two official photographers at The British Travel Awards, the biggest awards ceremony for travel businesses in the UK, in 2009. His creative vision and exciting shots gave us a whole new perspective on the event when we looked at the images he produced. He not only captured the usual corporate shots which we expected, but also the atmospheric images, and tasteful candid shots which enabled us to see what was going on throughout the venue all night long, when we were too busy concentrating on the action on-stage!
